This was one of a series of paintings painted flat on the grass using brooms, brushes andrags to get energy and movement into the art piece. It was built up over a number of days. The late works of Turner and a visit to the Tate Britain was the initial inspiration. Once started the art piece took on a life and momentum of its own.
