The Crabtree, Hemel Hempstead

The Crabtree, Hemel Hempstead
This building dates back to 1563, although it was in the early 19th Century that we know it was used as a beer house and bakery.
I have driven past this pub many times but it wasn't until I walked past one sunny Sunday morning and glimpsed the pub through surrounding trees that I realised what an attractive building it was.
The Crabtree was painted with acrylic paint on watercolour paper.
