Having spent my working life in employment law I was finally able to fulfil my ambition of engaging in much more painting! I’ve been painting for many years on a part time basis, and now work mainly in acrylics and mixed media, with some oil and watercolour.

I can also frame my own works in simple wood frames. Most work is on paper or canvas and is often textured. I draw inspiration from memory and imagination, and often work with landscape forms, or still life, in an abstract or semi-abstract style. I love colour, and try and engage the eye with tone and value.
My work is in private collections and I have exhibited in London, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. I am a member of the Herts Visual Arts Forum. Works can be purchased securely through the Island of Art website.
